MORNINGSIDE BUSH DANCE

These dances are held monthly, February to November at the Morningside School of Arts Hall, cnr. Thynne and Wynnum Rds., Morningside, 8-11pm. Music is provided by members of The Champion Moreton Bay Band and ring-ins.
Programmed dances draw on many heritages that have been introduced to Australia, including Playford, Scottish, Irish, Welsh and New England (USA) Contra Dances, as well as home grown varieties.
You don't have to know the dances as they are walked through or demonstrated then called as they are being danced.
