Format: We are acoustic, unplugged and mostly
blackboard. Floor singers, reciters and storytellers are always welcome.
Every few months we have a themed evening; preference is given to those
whose sets reflect the theme. At least once a month we feature a
40 minute 'Special Guest' spot, drawing on performers from other folk clubs,
Red Hill Folk regulars or touring performers from interstate and overseas.
Free supper: As there is no facility at the venue
for meals, each week one of the regulars brings in supper. The suppers have been creative and delicious, from cakes, pikelets, dips and sandwiches to soup
and crusty bread. We take a 20 minute ‘talk and supper break’ mid-way
through the evening which creates an enjoyable, party-like atmosphere.
Our Room: We meet in the main bar (The Old Bowler's
Bar) which we have for our exclusive use on Wednesday nights.

to go on our emailing list for a weekly review of the
last week's session. Join our group:
Facebook - Musosclub
Do note that our website
www.glasshousemusos.com.au (although a
fascinating historical resource) is not updated as often as we'd like. The facebook group page
has lots of new information on a weekly basis.
If you're coming from further afield and would like to negotiate a longer
set, just get in touch with me and I'll happily look at it and promote your appearance. And as
always if you want to book a time to play, simply send me an email.
We provide good quality sound for the artists, and encourage all
styles of music, but folk, blues and country are very popular amongst our group. We also generally
have a Musos House band of some form for artists who'd like backing.
