HAT FITZ & CARA 2015

Hat Fitz & Cara have their new album No. 4 just mastered, Titled After The Rain, engineered, produced and mix'd by the well respected Govinda Doyle who was behind, the No. 1 Big Jet Plane by Angus and Julia Stones. It was with their latest album “Do Tell” 3 months standing at No.1 in the Australian Blues & Roots charts and entering the Amazon charts at No.17 in Europe. Do Tell was voted best female vocal in 2015 Chain awards Australia. Their Do Tell album was professionally engineered and produced by Australia's well admired Jeff Lang.

This dynamic two piece are a unique combination that have skilfully combined their hill style Gospel blues with old timey flavourings. Stripped down to just voices, guitar and vintage drums, Hat Fitz & Cara embellish impeccable rootsy originals with powerful and soulful vocals reminiscent of a time once forgotten. They have been referred to as festival favourites globally as it is not just a live show of their repertoire they share but a personal invitation into the parody of their lives on the road together that often has their audiences in tears of laughter. They were semi finals at 2015’s International Memphis Blues challenge USA and proud to represent the South East Queensland Blues association. They have been known to pack more energy, emotion and sheer musical exuberance into one song than most manage in a whole career. Their music comes straight from the heart with a sound that is full of inherent realism, making their live shows visually electric.
