8th MALENY MUSIC FESTIVAL

From Sorong Samarai Band (from P.N.G and West Papua), 8 piece Melbourne Dance Band Hello Tut Tut (see photo), Nashville based guitarist Van Larkins to Alon Shemesh a Didgeridoo performer from Israel, the 2019 Maleny Music Festival features a stellar line up of International, interstate & local performers showcasing many genres of music and the performing arts.

This will be the first time Sorong Samarai Band have performed in Queensland. They have played at Womadelaide, Byron Bay Blues Fest. as well as Sydney Opera House and will soon showcase at the Darwin Festival.

Australian acts of note are Mal Webb & Kylie Morrigan (see photo), Joe Geia Band (see photo - Photocredit James_Henry), Highlife Emily Maguire (recently returned from the U.K), Cloudstreet, Gone Molly (see photo), Zumpa, Deline Briscoe (see photo), Linsey Pollak, Rob Longstaff, 11 year old Allegra Dunning from Katoomba, Hayley Calvert, Victoria Vigenser & Linsay Martin (see photo), Khristian Mizzi, Out Of Range, Barry Charles, The Magnificence, Red Crow, Asleep At The Reel.

All will be revealed when you can collect a program at the Program Launch at Maleny Lane in Bunya Street Maleny this Friday 19th July from 7.00pm. Meals are available from 6.00pm.

The night highlights some of this year’s performers with Flower & Trengove a dynamic duo from the Sunshine Coast as well as legendary internationally acclaimed artist Linsey Pollak.

Patrons will be eligible to win Tickets to the Festival and 3 Day tickets will be on sale for one night only at the recent Early Bird Ticket price of $110.00. That represents a saving of $45.00 on the Gate Price.

This family friendly, festival now in it’s 8th year features over 50 performers on 4 Stages over 3 days as well as on Site Camping, Food & Market Stalls, Licensed Bars, Workshops, Children’s Festival, Sessions, Street Performers, and Open Mic. opportunities.
